Ejelum Ofala is a remake of an old song by the late Chief Akunwafo Ezigbo Obiligbo during the early 70s titled "Ejelu M Ofala." Brought back to life by Opala in a style that suits today's Afrikan modern music. The lyrics of the song are meaningful, wavy, danceable, and the beat of the song will definitely get you in the mood to get jiggy.

After been told by several people that he looks like psqaure, Opala decided to do a cover of Rudeboy's reason with me single. He sings about unity in familyhood and unity among all black people and most importantly he used the song to remind us all about death which is the inevitability that awaits all souls.

Nwanyi bu ive is the real deal if only you understand the Onicha language but if not then the little English added in the song is enough to acquaint you with what the music is all about. Some people have already started calling Opala “Nwanyi bu ive” due to their love for the song. Nwanyi bu ive carries a strong message with deep meaning and can only be understood by those with the knowledge of self and that of the universe.

A woman is the heaven we see on Earth, a woman is the universe and if God wanted to be human God would be a woman. A woman is something of value: Nwanyi bu ive.

Opala jumped on DJ Khaled’s song titled “Welcome to my hood” and cooked up a mixtape with street hip hop coupled with Onicha slangy words and lingua terminologies. This is the first song Opala recorded after he changed his name from Karma Simple to Opala, although during his fresh years in the University he was known by his first stage name “Hoodbaby.” In the last path of the song he came with his old self and flown some nice rap lines to spice up the gig.
